Clinical support functions encompass implementation and merging of electronic medical records, analysis and development of practice performance to meet national quality benchmarks for PQRS, Meaningful Use, and MIPS.
These support functions augment each practice’s needs for data and subsequent information to provide cost effective care delivery. Practices gain access to claim based information that tracks adherence to quality benchmarks and financial goals for health plans that allows providers to refer to cost effective quality specialists, pharmacies, diagnostic centers, and other facilities.
